It may be more expensive than some other similarly featured meters out there, but keep in mind that Extech is a fairly well respected brand.They make good stuff that will last.I've never heard people say Extech stuff is junk.Other products, such as the cheaper stuff from your favorite mall electronics store, have plenty of bad reviews along with the good.
